This mare carries the brand of Miguel Angel Cardenas, one of Spain's most renown breeders. Imported as a yearling filly, Hacendosa has blossomed into a proud, beautiful mare. She was sired by the legendary Jubiloso VIII, who was said to have "the best neck ever of any horse in Spain" and excelled in the dressage ring. Hacendosa's dam was one of the cobra mares shown by Cardenas . Her bloodlines are some of the oldest and purest, including Bilbaino III and Vasallo II, the number one rated horse ever in Spain in the Book of Merits. We selected this mare for her outstanding pedigree, extraordinary movement, powerful elevation and extension, and her beautifully correct conformation. Cardenas wanted to keep her in his own breeding program, but after much negotiating, we were finally granted the privilege of purchasing this fantastic animal. She has since produced several outstanding foals by our Cartujano stallion, Urgel III, including her newest colt Financiero P.
