This homozygous black filly is out of the Reserve National Champion mare Andoria, a Bizarro X daughter. Her sire is the black-bay imported Paco Lazo stallion, Favorito De La Parra. 2002 Wisconsin State Champion filly. Due to an old leg injury, Basia will not be shown in the show ring, but be a trail pleasure horse and broodmare here at Rancho Andalucia. She has good movement, loves people, has great conformation and carries strong Carthusian lines on both her dam and sire's side. Basia was revised by Cria Caballar in 2004, and Colonel Zapatero was very complimentary of her.
