Atlantico P was the type of horse people dream about. Beautiful beyond words not only in body but also in soul. Due to a tragic colic, Atlantico died at too early an age. This was to be his first year as a breeding stallion. We thought of him as our friend, not our horse. He loved people and always came over as soon as he saw us. Nothing could scare him from being at our side while working in his pasture or stall; he was always happy to be around us.

He rested the fears of people who had never been around a horse, much less a stallion, with his gentle and loving nature. He was always trying to figure out what to do next to please us. He was the perfect ambassador for the Spanish Horse. The most often asked question was "Is he for sale?". Who wouldn't want to own a horse like Atlantico P?

Atlantico was buried in his pasture, and we believe his spirit will be in a heaven for horses, in which his pure soul will live on forever.

He is sorely missed by his human family and will not be forgotten. He will remain a part of our website and live on in our memories, and one day we hope to meet him again.

The most beautiful and precious things in life cannot be seen or touched -- they can only be felt by the heart.
